Welcome
to the Leader Book page. What is a Leader Book? It is Outlined in FM
25-101. Take time to read about it as well as the entire FM. What I have
compiled here, was taken from a winning SGT Morales board member in Germany. It
became a standard within the 3d Infantry Division. Often, leader books are
misunderstood. They should never be made identical to one another, because we
each have our own leadership style. However, there must be certain key elements
for them to be effective in a unit. Standard information is a must for a good
leader book, standard style is not. I want to share a format that is seems
effective for today's leader. I served two years with a Readiness Group and
tailored the book to meet the needs of the Reserve and National Guard. If some
of the lingo, (like MUTA) seems foreign, just remove it or restyle to your
additional needs or taste. I currently have it saved in MSWord 97 but can save
it to most any standard format, though some tweaking may be necessary by the
user. You can download your very own copy at AKO. To find out how to get
your copy go to my Use AKO page. I take no
responsibility in how the material is used and only offer as assistance to help
you become a better leader, the rest is up to you.
Continuity
Books are a convenient way to
keep yourself together. If you are in an important job, take time to read
